WESTHOUGHTON Townswomen’s Guild will be hosting a talk on women comedians.
Brian Halliwell will speak to the group about the topic at its next meeting on Monday, September 15. Members will meet at the John Holt Centre in Birch Avenue, Westhoughton at 7.30pm. A sale of confectionery will also take place.
Later this month on September 25 some of the members will visit Dam House, Astley, for a talk and tour of the house and gardens.
