DEMENTIA friends are needed during World Alzheimer’s Month to help people in Bolton who are living with the disease.
Those aged over 50 have an opportunity to attend a practical training session, run by Bolton and District Over-50s Federation, at Friends Meeting House, Silverwell Street, from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday, September 30.
Suzanne Jankowski, a social worker from Salford Royal Hospital, will present the training and share advice on how to provide help and understanding for dementia sufferers, their families and their carers.
