A MAN has been charged after a grandfather was punched in the face by an alleged road-rage attacker.
71-year old Peter Stringer is said to have been assaulted on Sunday evening while he was taking his dogs for a walk in Old Clough Lane in Worsley.
The attack is alleged to have happened after Mr Stringer raised his arms to question why a Mercedes driver had raced past him so fast.
Matthew Hall has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The 28-year old, of Oakwood Avenue, Worsley will appear before Manchester magistrates on September 22.
