A MIDWIFE is calling for nurses who trained 40 years ago to join her for a reunion.
The Bolton Class of ’77 last came together in 2000 on the steps of Bolton Town Hall. Ann Worsley wants to recreate the tradition but needs as many of the 60 nurses as possible to join her. Ms Worsley, a midwife at the Royal Bolton Hospital, said: “We have held reunions before in 1984, 1990 and 2000 and it is time to do it again.
“We’d like to hear from anyone who trained in Bolton between 1974 and 1977.” The reunion will again take place on Saturday, October 4 on the town hall steps.
