Manslaughter charge over death of 62-year-old in Leigh
A MAN has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a Leigh man.
William Lynch, aged 41, is due to appear at Wigan Magistrates Court this morning.
On August 26, Derek Alexander Szostok was found injured at a house in Moresby Close, Leigh.
The 62-year-old died four days later. Lynch, who lives in Moresby Close, has been arrested and remanded in custody.
A Home Office post-mortem examination has established that Mr Szostok died from a "flexation of the neck".
