A MAN charged with murdering his wife will stand trial.
Mark Dyson, aged 55, appeared at Preston Crown Court via video link to enter a not guilty plea to the murder of Carole Dyson.
Mrs Dyson is alleged to have been killed on April 29.
Her body was found by police at the Harrison Road, Adlington, home the couple shared.
A trial date has been set for October 20 at Preston Crown Court. It is expected to last up to seven days.
Dyson’s barrister, Stuart Driver QC, made no application for bail. Judge Stuart Baker remanded Dyson in custody following the plea and case management hearing.
