THE president of the Rotary Club of Horwich visited the Royal Marines Barracks in Liverpool to present a cheque for more than £1,000.
The money was raised from the club’s involvement in the Bolton Ironman event, which was held last month.
President of the club Paul Whitney presented the cheque to Commanding Officer Colonel Jon Dowd on behalf of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
