A JURY has cleared a man of raping a woman on New Year’s Eve.
Billy Wallace, aged 45, of Chorley Old Road, Bolton, was alleged to have raped a woman on December 31, 2013.
He was also charged with making threats to kill against a woman on March 2.
He was cleared of both charges by a jury following a trial at Bolton Crown Court.
He was charged with criminal damage but no evidence was offered.
