TWO men charged with causing the deaths of a couple by dangerous driving will appear in court later this month.
Carl David Wood, aged 27, of St James Street, Farnworth, and Steven Ward, aged 25, of South Avenue, Swinton, will appear at Manchester Crown Court on September 30.
They will enter a plea for causing death by dangerous driving.
The charges relate to a crash on June 22 on the East Lancashire Road.
Aaron Jones, aged 19, who was born in Bolton, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa and died at the scene. His girlfriend, Amy Hobson, a 21-year-old mother-of-one, died several hours after the crash.
The defendants were due to attend Manchester Crown Court yesterday, but the case has been adjourned until later this month.
