The CCTV image released in a bid to help identify the man who was seen trying car doors in Horwich
A WOULD-BE thief is being hunted after he was caught on camera trying car doors in Horwich.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the suspect pictured to contact them.
The man was caught on CCTV on August 13 at 4.24am.
Police are not revealing how the footage to protect the owner's anonymity, but the incident took place in Horwich.
They say the footage shows that criminals are not fazed by security lights and will continue to attempt to steal from vehicles.
Police are reminding residents not to give thieves an opportunity and to make sure valuables are out of sight.
