BOOT camp participants will get their own back on their instructor while raising money for Bolton Hospice.
Members of Family Military Fitness will take part in a sponsored three-hour exercise session on Saturday, September 13, at Leverhulme Park.
At the end, they will be able to order instructor Mark Gibson, a former Royal Marine, to do whatever exercise they demand for a £1 a minute.
From squats to flipping tyres, push-ups to sprints, the 31-year-old from Westhoughton says he’s up for anything.
He said: “It’s going to be a big three-hour session for Bolton Hospice. A few people are a bit worried about it as sessions are usually one hour, but we will have a bit of fun with relay games and races.
“I won’t go too easy on them, because then we’ll do Beat The Instructor when basically they can tell me to do whatever they like. It’s all for a good cause.”
Family Military Fitness has been running for three years, and meets every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at Westhoughton Central Park and in Leverhulme Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
