CARERS will be taking part in the town's most colourful fundraising event in aid of Bolton Hospice.
Staff at Mayday Homecare in Chorley New Road are dressing up and hoping to turn the town into all the colours of the rainbow as they put themselves through their paces tomorrow in the hospice's first colour run.
The team of 12 care agency employees, who work to keep people independent in their homes, will be hoping to raise more than £750 for the hospice.
The group will be wearing brightly coloured wigs and glasses to keep in with the event’s aim of people having fun and celebrating life.
The 5km run will take place in Queens Park and will see hundreds of people get covered in brightly coloured paint as they make their way around the course.
People can register to take part in the colour run by paying £30 on the day. It will start at 11am.
