BOLTON presenter Paddy McGuinness has landed a stint as a radio DJ.
Bauer Media has signed the Take Me Out funny-man to host a new Sunday show across its stations in the north of England and Scotland, including Manchester-based Key 103, Rock FM, in Preston, and Liverpool’s Radio City.
Paddy’s Sunday Dinner will be broadcast from 9am until noon and is part of a larger shake-up of the network’s weekend schedule.
Owen Ryan, group content director for Bauer Place North of England and Scotland, said: “It follows extensive research and delivers locally relevant shows mirroring the lives of our listeners in their local area, alongside the best UK wide talent, stars and entertainment shows to engage and excite our audiences when our audiences want them most — on the weekends.”
Kate Lawler’s Late Show will also be extended on Sunday nights.
The new schedule comes into place on October 3.
