MIRACLE man Fabrice Muamba has shared his sympathies with a fellow footballer forced to retire with heart problems.
Spanish goalkeeper Manuel Almunia announced his early retirement yesterday after doctors detected his heart condition during a routine medical.
Former Wanderers midfielder Muamba took to Twitter to write: “Just heard the news about Manuel Almunia. I know it’s not easiest thing to deal with but at least you have your health and your family.”
Muamba nearly died on the pitch after his heart stopped while playing at Tottenham in March 2012.
