Young people walked 6km across Bolton carrying water to highlight the crisis in Gaza.
About 15 members of Bolton Lads and Girls Club walked from their Chorley Street base around the town centre and on to Leverhulme Park.
They set off at 10.30am, carrying 20 litres of water, to collect donations. Money raised will be donated to aid efforts in the troubled region.
Conor Crook, from the club, said: “We wanted to raise awareness and funds as so many people are being killed in Gaza.
“We walked the same distance people would have to walk to get clean water in the region.”
The club is hosting a fundraising film night screening Shooting Dogs tonight at 6.30pm at the Kitchen Cafe. Admission is £3 on the door.
