ADAM Bogdan is a major doubt for tomorrow night’s Captial One Cup game against Crewe after being knocked unconscious in the defeat at Brighton.
The Hungarian keeper was injured in a 37th minute collision as Craig Mackail-Smith equalised at the Amex Stadium, leaving the field with a large gash above his left eye.
Dougie Freedman later revealed that Bogdan, pictured right, had also been knocked out in the accident and would have to be checked by a doctor before being allowed to play at Gresty Road.
“Adam got a cut above his eye and got knocked unconscious so hopefully it will be a couple of days of rest and then back on Tuesday,” he said. “Ultimately it’s down to how the doctor sees it.
“We also have to check to see if his eye swells up or whether it has any effect on his vision.”
Freedman also revealed that Dean Moxey has suffered a set-back in his recovery from a bruised foot.
“He came back to training and then suffered exactly the same kind of injury,” he said. “That just about sums up our luck at the moment.”
