TINY tots and adults grabbed their spades and wheelbarrows to build a new garden in Moss Bank Park.
More than 50 volunteers took part in the joint project between Lancashire Wildlife Trust and Forresters.
Organisers say their new garden for pre-school children is almost finished thanks to everyone’s hard work.
Charlie Barlow, senior project officer at the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, said: “We had a fantastic day and everyone worked so hard.
“They built new raised beds and re-turfed the garden. It’s going to be a great resource for our education sessions and we think the children will love it.”
