A THIEF has been sentenced to six months imprisonment suspended for a year.
James Taggart, aged 30, of Duxbury Street, Halliwell, admitted stealing a suitcase which contained £700 of items on March 24. He also stole a sandwich and can of Red Bull from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station’s Greggs store on February 24 and stole Thorntons chocolates costing £10 on March 24 in Bolton.
Taggart was also ordered to pay £80 court costs.
