A MAN who attacked an Asda security guard has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Marc Rayner, aged 24, of Cobden Street, Egerton, admitted beating Kevin Philips on July 12.
He was sentenced to a four-month jail term suspended for 12 months, ordered to comply with a two-month curfew and pay victim Mr Phillips £150 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge by Bolton magistrates.
