A GARDENER has been asked to appear in front of a planning committee after a neighbour complained his polytunnel was an eyesore.
James Buckley will find out tomorrow whether he is allowed to keep the structure, in which he grows his own vegetables at his home in Pocket Nook Road in Lostock. A neighbour has complained that the tunnel was very untidy. Planning officers at Bolton Council agreed that the tunnel was a blight on the area, but have recommended councillors approve the application providing Mr Buckley moves the tunnel at the end of the planting season.
