A MAN has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in a garden.
Thomas Flanagan, aged 57, of Wigan Road, Leigh, has been charged with murder and will appear at Wigan Magistrates Court today.
Police were called to the home in Wigan Road just after midnight on Tuesday after a member of the public called police to say they were worried about a woman who lived there.
They found her body in the back garden.
The woman has been named as Elaine Flanagan.
