AN inquest into the death of Marc Jepson cannot go ahead until murder charges have been dealt with, a coroner has said.
Alan Walsh said the inquest could not start until court proceedings had been completed, after a hearing took place at Bolton Coroner’s Court on Friday.
The Farnworth dad was found dead at his home in Kildare Street, Farnworth, on March 5.
A post-mortem examination revealed that he died from asphyxiation.
Carl Hodgkiss, aged 28, of Elton Avenue, Farnworth, is charged with Mr Jepson’s murder and Irene Hodgkiss, aged 63, of Fairwood Avenue, Farnworth, faces a charge of helping him.
The pre-inquest review was adjourned until Friday, December 19.
