POLICE are on the hunt for a jet washer thief.
The stocky man, pictured, drove up to a building site in Europa Park in Kearsley at about 1pm on Monday, July 7.
When the traffic barrier did not open, he walked to the back of the premises and stole the jet washer before driving off.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and have released CCTV footage of the man.
He is described as white, of stocky build with brown short hair and was a wearing long grey shorts.
PC Trish Shepard said: "We have released a CCTV still of a man we want to speak to in connection with the theft, and although you can't see his face I think if you know him you will recognise him from these images.
"I would ask you to take a close look and if you recognise the man or have any information about the theft to call the police."
Anyone with any information can call police on 0161 8565608 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
