FAMILIES are enjoying all the fun of the fair in Bolton this week.
The Mayor of Bolton Cllr Martin Donaghy opened Northwest Funfairs, at Spa Road Playing Fields, Queens Park, on Wednesday.
Kate Charlton, from the fairground company, said: “We’ve got a sandpit, all the rides, bouncy castles. We come here two or three times a year.”
Coun Donaghy was joined by Mayoress Jacqueline Tracey and the pair tried their luck on the hoop stall while youngsters enjoyed the rides at the fair, which is open until August 20.
Disney characters will also pay a visit today and there will be donkey rides, weather permitting.
