A MIDWIFE is calling for nurses who trained 40 years ago to step up for a reunion.
The Bolton Class of ’77 last came together in 2000 on Bolton Town Hall steps.
Ann Worsley wants to recreate the tradition but needs as many of the 60 nurses as possible to join her.
Ms Worsley, a midwife at the Royal Bolton, said: “We have held reunions before in 1984, 1990 and 2000 and it is time to do it again.
“We would like to hear from anyone who trained in Bolton between 74 and 77.
“I’m already in touch with around 20 nurses but it would be good to see more.”
The reunion will take place on Saturday, October 4, on the town hall steps.
