EIGHTEEN-year-old Noel Wadzie was delighted with his results of Distinction Plus in his Business BTec Diploma and Distinction Plus in his Sport BTec Subsidiary Diploma.
He will now be going to Manchester Metropolitan to study Business and Sport.
The Kearsley Academy student said: I am so pleased to be going to university, the school really supported me and it is like leaving a family, I am really proud of my results. At Kearsley, 97 per cent of students have successfully got into their first choice university.
Other high fliers included Beth Chapman, aged 18, who will study music at Manchester Metropolitan University.
David Tonge, aged 18, will be studying Business Information Technology at Salford University.
He said “I am very excited about starting university and securing a good career for myself.”
