STUDENTS at Bolton’s top performing school celebrated outstanding results.
Four girls at Bolton School achieved three or more A* grades and five girls are off to Cambridge or Oxford.
They are Tejal Shanbhag; Emily Bodger; Elizabeth Moore; Leda Hadjigeorgiou and Holly Holt.
Four boys achieved three or more A* grades.
This year two boys have Oxbridge places — Matthew Allan, who will study Modern Languages at Queen’s College, Cambridge and Adam Murray, who will study medicine at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and the vast majority of boys will progress to their first choice university.
Head of the boys’ division Philip Britton said: “I wish the boys well.
“The grades are a passport to their life beyond school — they will draw on many aspects of their life at school as they move on.”
