HIGH-flying student Josh Knowles is off to study aerospace engineering at Manchester University after gaining four straight As.
He said: “I was not expected all As, I had worked hard, it was tough but was worth it.”
Rivington is one of the few sixth forms in the area that allows students to combine A-levels with BTECs.
Students at the Horwich school have this year have accepted places at a range of universities, including the University of Cambridge, Manchester University, Kings College London, the University of Lancaster and the State University of Nevada.
Headteacher Tony Purcell said: “Education is a journey, and we wish all students continued success to achieve their aims.”
