BOLTON Wanderers defender Alex Baptiste has been given a police caution after an incident outside a nightclub.
Baptiste, aged 28, who is currently on loan at Blackburn Wanderers, was arrested in July on suspicion of actual bodily harm following an alleged brawl outside UBER bar in Poulton-le-Flyde, near Blackpool.
Baptiste, who lives in Lytham, Lancashire, was given a caution for assault when he answered police bail, Lancashire police have confirmed.
No action will be taken against a 23-year-old man who was also arrested after the incident.
It was alleged that a man was knocked unconscious and lost several teeth in the incident, which happened at 1.35am on Saturday, June 28.
It was said to have happened after a man touched Baptiste's wife's bottom.
