A derelict pub was badly damaged in a suspected arson attack in Atherton.
Firefighters from Atherton and Horwich were called to the blaze at the derelict Railway pub in Pollard Street just after 2pm.
The pub is thought to have been empty since July.
Firefighters put out the fire in the top floor of the building, where about 50 per cent of the floor was destroyed.
The fire is thought to have been started deliberately and the police have been informed.
