A FORMER star of TV’s The Apprentice has donated £2,500 to buy specially adapted bikes for children.
Alex Wotherspoon purchased three bikes for pupils at New Greenhall School in Atherton, on behalf of the St James’s Place Foundation which is a partner practice of the Chorley-based business ARW Wealth Management, of Alex he is the managing director.
The 31-year-old father-of-two said: “A lot of the children are relatively immobile and in some cases they struggle to walk, which is why I bought the bikes.
“I have two baby boys and it brought home to me how lucky they are not having to face the difficulties that some of these children face. Anything we at ARW can do to help these children, we will do.”
