Teenagers held after rape of girl, 13
TWO 17-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of the rape of a girl aged 13 in a Great Lever park.
Police were called to Tootal Park, also known as Sunnyside Park, off Higher Swan Lane, at 9.45pm last night.
Officers attended the scene and arrested the two boys, who are now in custody for questioning.
Police say their inquiries into the alleged rape are ongoing.
An area in Sunnyside Park has been cordoned off by police.
