BUS operator First welcomed more than 200 people to a family fun day event held at their Weston Street bus garage.

The day was held for customers and the local community to meet First staff, tour the depot and enjoy a range of fun activities for all the family.

One special VIP at the event was three-year-old Owen Davis who is a big fan of buses.

The free event also included displays by the army, fire and police, a bouncy Castle and face painting.

Matt Rawlinson, business manager for First in Bolton said: "I’m delighted so many people came to our open day and enjoyed all the activities.

“In particular I’d like to thank our special VIP Owen and all our partners and staff who made the event such a great success.”
