ADULTS and young children came together to trumpet the 100th anniversary of the 14th Bolton Boys’ Brigade.
There were displays of the group’s achievements over the past century, including trophies, badges and certificates, while youngsters staged a musical performance using some of the old instruments of the brigade’s former band.
The celebrations took place at Trinity Methodist Church in Tonge Old Road, Tonge Fold.
Brigade member Paul Stringer said: “It was a great day and the kids absolutely loved it.
“We want to show people that we are still going strong and if people want to join our group, they can.
“We’re always looking for new members.”
The 14th Bolton Boys’ Brigade meets every Monday at the church.
