Wanderers were back in action after the summer break when they played the first game of their tour of Denmark and Sweden on Thursday night.

A number of fans made the trip and were pictured by our reporter Marc Iles outside and inside the stadium.

One of the shots shows two young supporters, Calvin Jackson from the Hough, and Daniel Stancliff from Little Lever and another captures a group of Whites fans proudly displaying their flags - one, curiously, being the Swedish flag with 'Bolton' written across the middle.

There was a game going on as well, and Marc photographed the fans in the stands as well as the two teams taking a drinks break while our matchday photographer snapped Josh Vela and Mark Davies in the thick of the action.
