A PENSIONER has died almost a month after a car crash in Edgworth.
Patricia Rudkin, aged 85, of Woodhey Road, Ramsbottom was a passenger in a Peugeot 206 which pulled out onto Broadhead Road, at the junction with Bury Road, next to the White Horse pub.
She suffered a broken leg and broken wrists in the crash last month and died yesterday.
The car she was in was involved in a crash with a Bentley Continental which was travelling along Broadhead Road towards Bolton at about 2.40pm on Sunday, June 22.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 55-year-old woman from Bury, suffered whiplash.
The driver of the Bentley, a 48-year-old man from Edgworth, also had whiplash and was left with a large cut on the head.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
Sgt Alan Baron, from Lancashire Police's road policing unit, said: “I would appeal for anyone who saw this collision to get in touch with the police.”
