Band name:
Lime Chase
Members names, ages and where you are from:
Seb Meadows, aged 18, singer.
Elliot Saunders, aged 18, guitarist.
Milo Saunders, aged 15, drummer.
Nat Yates-Hart, aged 18, bassist.
We are all from Sharples in Bolton.
When and where did you form?
We formed gradually but the four of us were playing together in February 2013. Elliot and Milo started the band the month before and Nat came in a couple of weeks later. Seb was the last to join.
What is your sound and who are your influences?
We play pop songs with loud, distorted guitars so I suppose that's rock and roll with a bit more roll than rock.
We all love The Beatles, Oasis and The Stone Roses. We are influenced by quite a lot of other artists including the Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian.
What is the biggest gig you have played to date?
We played a charity gig in May to a crowd of about 200. Quite regularly we play to more than a hundred people.
If you are not already, is it your ambition to become professional?
Yeah we would all like to be professional as we all love music. We all enjoy gigging so to for it to be our job would be a huge bonus.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still doing what are doing now but hopefully to bigger crowds, maybe headlining music festivals.
Is there anything unusual or interesting about the band?
The guitarist and the drummer are brothers and the talented drummer happens to be deaf.
Upcoming gigs?
We regularly play Eagley Cricket Club and we will be playing there again on the July 5.
