ANY Bolton residents who worked at Agecroft Colliery in Swinton before its closure in 1990 are invited to a memorial service on April 26 when a memorial garden at the site of the former colliery entrance will be dedicated to all those who died there.
The event will begin at midday and guests are invited to assmeble at 11.30am.
That evening a reunion of Agecroft miners is being held at Swinton Royal British Legion in Cheetham Road.
All former Agecroft Colliery employees, their families and friends are invited to both events.
