A SHOPLIFTER has been ordered to have treatment for drug addiction after admitting taking goods from Bolton stores.
Bolton magistrates heard how Andrew Middleton, aged 38, of George Barton Street, Bolton, stole food valued at £125 from Morrisons on March 6 and two days later took electrical goods worth £247 from Boots.
He pleaded guilty to the offences and the court sentenced him to have drug treatment for six months.
