BOLTON residents who worked at the Agecroft Colliery in Swinton before its closure in 1990 are invited to a memorial service at noon on April 26.
A memorial garden at the site of the former colliery entrance will be dedicated to all those who died in the pit.
Guests are invited to assemble at 11.30am.
That evening a reunion of Agecroft miners is being held at Swinton Royal British Legion, Cheetham Road.
