A MOTHER and daughter duo have opened a new nursery after agreeing a £128,500 funding package from Santander Corporate and Commercial.
Diane Carroll and daughter Sarah have set up Little Feet Day Nursery after spotting a gap in the market for flexible childcare solutions in Bolton.
The nursery looks after babies and children until they start primary school and offers various care options, including short days, morning and afternoon sessions and bespoke packages.
The funding from Santander has allowed the team to redevelop the building in Bury New Road — previously used as a pub and Chinese restaurant — into the nursery.
The business will provide five new jobs initially, with more jobs potentially becoming available as the business grows.
Mrs Carroll said: “We are thrilled to have been able to set up Little Feet Day Nursery and to be able to offer high quality childcare to meet the needs of parents in the local community.
“Our highly qualified and caring team are experienced in looking after children and we look forward to growing the business this year and beyond.”
