Arson investigation launched after Halliwell car blaze
AN arson investigation has been launched after a car was set on fire in Halliwell.
Firefighters were called at 9.40am after a passerby saw the black Lexus hybrid car on fire near the Bread Basket bakery in Adrian Road.
Crews spent about 45 minutes putting out the blaze which destroyed the vehicle.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and police said enquiries are ongoing.
