THE sunshine might have all but vanished from our skies — but the rain has brought stunning rainbows to Bolton.
Elizabeth Brabin captured this stunning double rainbow from her home in Philips Avenue, Farnworth, on Sunday.
She said: “I took these photos of a beautiful double rainbow, which appeared in the sky after a heavy downpour.”
The autumn weather is set to continue this week with cloudy skies and top temperatures of 15C today. There will be more rain tomorrow followed by grey, cloudy skies on Thursday and Friday.
