A MULTI-millionaire “dragon” from Bolton and a Radio One DJ walked away from a live TV quiz show with £50,000 — despite getting a question wrong about money.
Hilary Devey and DJ Greg James earned the sum for charity as a celebrity pairing on Channel 4’s The Million Pound Drop Live on Saturday night.
During one round, the 56-year-old Bolton businesswoman and Greg, were faced with a question asking what American currency is the smallest between a nickel, dime and a quarter.
Unsure, they split their money across nickel, which is five cents, and dime which is 10 cents — it meant they lost half of their money.
Entrepreneur Hilary, who suffered a stroke in the past which had caused partial brain damage and left her with limited movement in her left arm, donated her money to the Stroke Association, while Greg gave his to Carers Trust.
