BHS in Bolton is gearing itself up for a special Easter week extravaganza to support the work of the NSPCC.
The event will be held at the Bolton store from tomorrow to Saturday, April 6, and customers are being urged to come along and support the store’s fundraising efforts.
There will be in-store collections, Easter egg raffle, name a teddy bear competition and much more.
NSPCC corporate executive Alison Roberts said: “BHS have been fantastic supporters of the NSPCC and staff are always keen to get stuck in to fundraising activities.
“Every penny that anyone donates and every second of the time that you give helps to make a difference to a child’s life.”
The Easter fundraising activity will help raise money to support the NSPCCs services across Bolton and the UK.
It could pay for more ChildLine counsellors to answer contacts from children in fear of abuse by phone and online, help the NSPCC answer more calls from adults with concerns about a child, and enable the charity to develop innovative and pioneering services for children who have suffered abuse and harm.
