WANDERERS have been overlooked in the voting for the Championship’s Player of the Year after a trio of players were shortlisted ahead of tomorrow’s Football League awards ceremony.
Chosen by the league’s managers, the trio – who have all scored against the Whites this season for their respective clubs – are Blackpool’s Tom Ince, Watford’s Matej Vydra and the division’s top scorer Glenn Murray from Crystal Palace.
Ince and Vydra are also up for the Young Player of the Year gong alongside Manchester United-bound Wilfried Zaha from Palace.
