REEBOK duo Craig Dawson and Marvin Sordell were both involved as England’s Under-21s beat their Romanian counterparts 3-0 on Thursday at Wycombe’s Adams Park.
Centre-back Dawson played the full 90 minutes, one of only four on the night to do so for Stuart Pearce’s side, while Sordell came off the bench just after the hour mark to replace Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling.
The win, courtesy of goals from Manchester United-bound Wilfried Zaha and substitutes Jack Robinson and Nathan Delfouneso, stretched the U21s’ unbeaten run to 16 months in front of more than 6,000 fans.
They have not conceded in those eight matches, in which Dawson has played six.
Pearce’s side are back in action on Monday night when they take on Austria at Brighton’s Amex Stadium as the build up to the summer’s European U21 Championships in Israel continues.
