WHITES striker Craig Davies may have missed out on international duty with Wales but that has not stopped him training at full tilt.
The 27-year-old was omitted from Chris Coleman’s squad for last night’s World cup qualifier in Scotland and Tuesday’s home clash against Croatia.
But he says there has been no let-up at Euxton from the Wanderers players who remain. And the determination to get back to winning Championship ways at Charlton next Saturday is evident according to the January signing.
Davies said: “Our focus is always on the next game. We have to be positive.
“Last weekend’s result at Ipswich was disappointing, but we have moved on from that and the focus is towards the next game after the international break.
“Before the Ipswich game we were on a good run of form, producing some solid performances and getting the results we deserved.
“So we have to stay positive and keep on working hard.
“We haven’t got a game this weekend but that hasn’t stopped the lads from working hard at the training ground.
“We are doing what we have to do to get results and hopefully we will go to Charlton and get a good one.”
