ANYONE interested in local food is encouraged to attend an event in Bolton on Saturday.
Feeding Manchester will feature information including a talk on growing food in wet climates and self-managing allotment sites.
Those taking part can also have a five-minute slot where they can share information about their own projects.
A spokesman for the event said: “We’re here to support groups, individuals and organisations involved in creating a more sustainable food system from across Greater Manchester.
“One of the ways we do that is by holding regular events where participants can learn from guest speakers, and share experiences while strengthening and creating new relationships.”
The event takes place on Saturday, from 9.30am until 2.30pm at the Quaker Friends Meeting House, Silverwell Street.
Anyone who wishes to take part must make a £12 contribution and places must be booked in advance at feedingmanchester.org.uk.
