A MAN who was arrested after a stabbing in Horwich has been bailed.
A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the torso with a pair of scissors in Julia Mews in the early hours of Monday morning.
He was taken to North Manchester General Hospital for treatment.
Police and forensic officers were at the scene for several hours on Monday.
Neighbours said there are often people coming and going from the house in the night.
Many were unaware of the stabbing until they got up in the morning and saw the police activity.
One said: “That’s awful but I am not surprised that something like that has happened.
“It is not the first time there have been problems there.
“But we thought it must be something fairly serious this time when we saw police and forensics.”
A 22-year-old man who was arrested has been bailed until March 28 pending further inquiries.
